Kiepe Electric is equipping an additional ten vehicles with various electrical systems, 14 previously delivered vehicles are already in regular revenue service and operating successfully Kiepe Electric’ scope includes the vehicle control equipment, on-board power supply, drive systems and air conditioning technology Energy-efficient air conditioning concept utilizes waste heat from the engine Kiepe Electric equips another ten Tramlink low-floor light rail vehicles from Stadler with various electrical systems. 14 new LRVs equipped with vehicle control and drive technology from Kiepe Electric, are already in operation in the Thuringian state capital. First journey and high power-charging for the 100% battery-electric Tzen 4 double-articulated bus from the Van Hool - Kiepe Electric - Alstom consortium for Île-de-France Mobilités Charging solution with SRS static ground charging system from Alstom and on-board charging technology from Kiepe Electric in test operation System integration from Kiepe Electric and Alstom enables charging power of up to 800 kilowatts and a short charging time of less than 5 minutes Smart Fleet Management from Kiepe Electric shows charging and maintenance requirements for buses and supports battery-saving charging At the presentation of the new depot of Île-de-France Mobilités in Corbeil-Essonnes, the innovative 24-meter double-articulated, battery-electric bus from the Van Hool - Kiepe Electric - Alstom consortium completed its first drive in front of an audience. The high-power charging solution from Alstom and Kiepe Electric was presented live for the first time. The SRS static ground charging system from Alstom and the charging hardware and software from Kiepe Electric enable high-power charging with up to 800 kW and fast charging processes of less than 5 minutes. Kiepe Electric, provider of innovative electrical systems for public transport, also supplied the complete traction system.

Mobility transition in Dortmund: Additional 8 light rail vehicles from Kiepe Electric and HeiterBlick

DSW21 has ordered an additional eight light rail vehicles from HeiterBlick and Kiepe Electric The Dortmund light rail project now includes 34 new vehicles and an identically modernized existing fleet of 64 vehicles Kiepe Electric supplies traction, APS, TCMS, electrical system and control technology and offers an extensive spare parts package for the operation of the LRV DSW21, Dortmund, has ordered eight additional light rail vehicles (LRV’s) from HeiterBlick, Leipzig, and Kiepe Electric, Düsseldorf, with planned delivery in 2025. The LRV’s will complement the fleet of 26 new vehicles already ordered, eight of which are already successfully delivered. As a system supplier, Kiepe Electric is responsible for the planning, delivery, assembly, and commissioning of the electrical equipment.
