Kiepe Electric in Austria: The powerful service partner

Long-term customer relations have a long tradition on Kiepe Electric’s site in Vienna. It was set up in 1959 and nowadays a highly qualified team supports the rail vehicle and bus customers in Austria in the fields of project management, engineering, assembly and service. The Austrian site cooperates closely with Kiepe Electric in Düsseldorf to realise this closeness to the customers. It applies to modernisation projects for the Wiener Lokalbahn and the Wiener Linien (metro) and to fulfilment of long-term service contracts, e.g. for the IMC bus fleet in Linz. Thanks to this know-how, it is our objective to extend our sales and service offer for Eastern Europe.

Until 2020 the novel HVAC technology for rail vehicles was part of Kiepe Electric Vienna’s portfolio. The system knowledge is still available, but today this business and competence field is bundled by Merak, which also belongs to the Knorr-Bremse Group:

Worldwide, and often under extreme weather conditions, ore, minerals, feedstuff or recycling goods are conveyed, processed or transported over long distances via conveyor systems. In this way many industries are reliably supplied with raw materials. Therefore, customers in the energy sector, the building material sector, the recycling sectors and the agricultural sector have relied on our products for the industry for more than 80 years.
