Kiepe Electric in the USA: Efficient manufacture in Alpharetta with many North American bus and rail vehicle manufacturers

Kiepe Electric USA is leading by the equipment of trolley buses in the USA and a powerful partner for streetcars and light rail systems. Kiepe Electric’s closeness to its customers pays off: Kiepe Electric, which has been seated in Alpharetta, Georgia, since 2010, has successfully manufactured numerous electric buses and rail vehicles together with many North American bus and rail vehicle manufacturers.

Kiepe Electric manufactures power electronics products, electric drive components and control devices for public transit vehicles in Alpharetta. Recently, a final assembly line for buses was set up on the premises. The customers appreciate that Kiepe Electric also offers retrofit and modernization of buses in its own workshop, which is possible because Kiepe Electric is a registered transit vehicle manufacturer.

In the rail system field Kiepe Electric is an experienced partner for the initial equipment of rolling stock and for tailor-made retrofit solutions. Our service team supports vehicle fleets for the entire life cycle and develops sustainable modernization and overhaul programs for the customers.

Numerous North American metropolises rely on Kiepe Electric’s technology in their environmentally friendly public transit concepts. About 800 electric buses with equipment from Kiepe Electric are being operated in North America today, e.g. in San Francisco, Seattle and Philadelphia as well as in Dayton.
