Kiepe Electric: Christoph Wede is the new Director Global Sales E-Mobility and Business Development

Commercial vehicles in general and the diverse design possibilities of electric mobility solutions have always fascinated Christoph Wede. His extensive expertise in the commercial vehicle and bus business stems from many years of sales and management experience at Daimler AG, Volkswagen Retail Group Deutschland (VGRD) and IVECO Magirus AG. Wede gained great expertise in the field of e-mobility at Quantron AG, among others, as Sales Manager Truck & Bus.

Experienced in the electrification of various commercial vehicle types, Christoph Wede is responsible for Kiepe Electric's entire global e-mobility business. This includes the task of the expansion of the e-mobility area with customized solutions in the areas of In Motion Charging (IMC®) and High Power Charging (HPC) vehicles as well as charging solutions. In addition to the successful system platform in the area of IMC trolleybuses, the system and product business for electric buses with high-voltage charging technology is to be expanded. Recently, the first electric bus with the new eBus HPC platform celebrated its premiere for the transport operator Île-de-France Mobilités. In addition, Kiepe Electric has entered the market for special charging stations and this business is now to be driven forward. The new division manager Wede is looking forward to these forthcoming tasks: "Customer-oriented e-mobility solutions for the bus and commercial vehicle market are an important part of the mobility turnaround. I would like to actively shape this transformation of our customers from established technology to energy-efficient and low-emission transport with the Kiepe Electric team."
